  1. I’m not sure what the various grains are doing in there as part of an “anti-inflammatory foods” post.

      Grains are not part of a primal diet. I guess the issue is moderation and context. If you finish up a tough workout after an hour and you eat wheat bread or oats, your insulin won’t spike, because the carbs will be utilized in the muscle instead of converted to fat. It is also true that reducing carbohydrates overall improves the body’s mechanism for burning fat.

      Drinking chocolate mile is my favorite after a hockey game.
